I nearly spit my Crystal Lite all over my notebook when I saw the Breaking News from CNN… New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, formerly NY’s #1 enemy of online gambling as NY Attorney General - has admitted that he was involved in a prostitution ring.

I guess even tenacious bulldogs who bark and bite and never let go sometimes latch on to the wrong thing.  But this particular instance has completely startled New York citizens, not to mention a number of other high-profile personalities and people.

Time Magazine even named him “Crusader of the Year” twice.

I bet PayPal, which paid a massive fine to settle its dispute with New York State (ie. Bulldog Spitzer), is going to have a champagne party to celebrate…  online gamblers have Spitzer to blame for PayPal’s withdrawal from the online gambling market.

In Thailand, we have a saying.  “Som Nam Na” - which literally translated means “water in face” but is generally used to mean “serves you right”, or even “What goes around comes around”.
